The establishment of the STT-PLN Electricity and Energy Engineering Master’s Program aims to form a forum for electricity and energy experts both within and outside PLN to transfer their knowledge to engineers/technical engineering practitioners, system planning managers, research and development managers in various industries, and for fresh graduates who are interested in the generation and utilization of energy in general, especially in electrical energy.
The STT-PLN Technical Masters Program was founded based on S.K. Minister of Education and Culture No.415/E/O/2012, dated 13 December 2012, about the Implementation of the Electrical Engineering Study Program (S2) at STT-PLN in Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
The development of electricity infrastructure that are actively carried out both by the government, namely the acceleration of the construction of 10,000 MW power plants phase 1 and phase 2, as well as the construction of power plants by the private sector, require the development of competent and high-quality human resources. Considering the need for high technology and the presence of large risk factors in infrastructure development, STT-PLN, which is experienced and has academically qualified resources, fully supports the development of competent and quality human resource that are essential for the success of the government’s urgent and strategic national development program, especially in the electricity and energy fields.

Registration and semester fees can be paid through Bank Mandiri tellers, ATMs & E-Banking.
Participants can choose the start of their course starting in the first week of September or in the first week of March each year.
Selection of Prospective Participants:
Prospective participants for the concentration of electricity and energy engineering are graduates of S1/D4 electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and physical engineering.
Prospective participants for the concentration of electricity and energy management, in addition to the graduates above are also graduates of S1/D4 chemical engineering, petroleum engineering and mining engineering. Selection tests include Academic Potential Test, English & Interview.
The cost of education for 4 (four) semesters is IDR 45,000,000 (forty-five million rupiah) with details of IDR 12,000,000/semester for 1st to 3rd semesters and IDR. 9,000,000 for 4th semester.
Lecture Time: Saturday, 08:00 to 18:00. Lunch and also Morning and Evening Snacks are provided.
Place of Study: Pusdiklat PT. PLN (Persero) Ragunan, South Jakarta and/or Menara PLN, Jl. Lingkar Luar Barat, Duri Kosambi, West Jakarta.
